              Event Description:


              * Friday October 11th
              FREE Street Concert
              Food truck, Beer&Wine Garden and The Democrat headquarters will be selling their famous Apple Dumplings!

              * Saturday October 12th
              - 12pm Halloween/Fall parade
              - 1pm-6pm ...Street Vendors, Food Trucks, Beer&Wine garden, Kids Corner activities and local businesses will be open.
              - 1pm Costume Contest
              - 1-5pm Chalk the Block art Contest
              - 2-4pm Geo Cash Contest
              - 6pm Fayette County Idol tryouts start
              - 8pm Open Jam and Karaoke
               

              HALLOWEEN PARADE is back this year!

              Saturday, October 12th at 12pm.  Part of the Apple Dumpling Days Fall Festival.

              •  11am Line up:  parking lot of The First United Methodist Church on 8th and Central.
              •  Route is 7th and Central heading South to 5th Street turning right on 5th and disbursing on Western Ave.
              •  Everyone is welcome to join!!   Dress up is required.
              •  All vehicles, floats, utility vehicles, recreational vehicles please join in the fun by decorating your selves and joining our contest for best decorated.  You may also Dress-up and Walk in the Parade...there will be a Costume Contest immediately following in the Court House parking lot.

                      1st - $100 Visa gift card
                      2nd - $50 Visa gift card
                      3rd - $25 Visa gift card

                  *** Prizes for Best Costumes...
                      1st - $75 Gift Card
                      2nd - $25 Gift Card
                      3rd - $10 Gift Card
              (Two age groups...12 and under & 13 and up)

              You do not have to be in the contest to be in the parade.
              If you choose to be in the contest you will sign up during the line up of the parade and receive a number to wear for the judges.
